Tony Wales is the Director for Business Banking for NatWest in Yorkshire.
For more than 30 years, Tony has worked in banking and financial services. Throughout his career, Tony has supported businesses as they develop and grow with bespoke funding solutions, providing specialist support and by utilising his business development network. Tony manages a team of face to face regional relationship managers across Yorkshire covering all sectors within the small- and medium- enterprise (SME) space.
He has also been active with the Prince’s Trust in recent years and continues to advocate for the charity by encouraging his network to support where possible.
Tony is delighted to join the Yorkshire and Humber Regional Board and support the rollout of the Business in the Community strategy in Bradford and West Yorkshire. Its focus areas across climate, learning and enterprise are very much aligned to NatWest’s purpose-led strategy. He is looking forward to working with the Board and sharing his network and ideas to help engage local businesses and their communities and support the wider business ecosystem in its continued growth.
Outside of the office, Tony is a qualified FA Coach and loves to travel. He also has a passion for golf and skiing.
