Sharron Ford is the Deputy Director for People Capability at the Office for National Statistics(ONS). This is her second civil service role; the first being in Defence Equipment and Support (part of Ministry of Defence).
Prior to joining the civil service four and a half years ago, Sharron worked in industries such as alcohol (AB InBev) and tobacco (Imperial Brands) across a range of HR roles including reward, performance, transformation and learning and development. She has lived and worked in the UK and Bermuda.
Sharron chose to join the board of Business in the Community because she is passionate about equality of opportunity for all people and creating a diverse and safe workplace where people thrive. Given her role within ONS, she has a particular interest in entry talent in all its guises from internships, carer leavers to work returnees.
