Alun Harding is currently Executive Headteacher of South Staffordshire Learning Partnership, consisting of five schools within the three-tier system of South Staffordshire. Alun previously sat on the Business in the Community (BITC) national Headteachers’ Steering Group and more recently joined BITC’s Education Taskforce.
Alun also works as a Headteacher Consultant for the Prince’s Teaching Institute, focusing on leadership, working with colleagues from across the country. Codsall High School is a partner school with Jaguar Land Rover, Midshires Co-op and has been an enthusiastic Business Class partner for a number of years. A key focus of the school’s work is to create a learning environment which develops resilience, determination and flexibility in the learners enabling them to become independent, positive and altruistic members of society.
Outside of school Alun is married and a proud father of two children. He is a keen supporter of Welsh rugby, as well as a frustrated golfer.
