Jude Cross has worked in housing, care and support services for over 24 years. Her varied career has seen her achieve a 53% reduction in rough sleeping across Cornwall over a 12-month period alongside launching the county’s first Homeless Health Peer Advocacy programme. Jude has previously led the development of an apprenticeship programme for young offenders in the West Midlands region; rolled out the use of trauma informed practices across one of the largest housing associations in South East England and more recently, in her role as Head of Care and Support for Midlands and East at Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing, she has championed customer voice and the reimagining of later living housing provision.
Jude is a strong advocate and supporter of working collaboratively and belief in the power of community to bring about change. Being part of the Business in the Community (BITC) East Midlands Regional Leadership Board, Jude will champion cross organisational work, sharing and learning from others to achieve positive impact within the region.
