A director at chartered surveyors JLL, Rosie Barclay specialises in commercial property valuation. Her clients include major institutional investors, property companies, private investors, occupiers and developers, and she provides valuation advice across the major commercial asset classes for a range of purposes. Her specialist area is the office sector as she is particularly interested in the impact of sustainability challenges on property values. Rosie is based in JLL’s Bristol office and covers the whole of the South West region.
Born in Gloucestershire, and having worked in Bristol for over 25 years ago, Rosie has a strong bond with the South West and is passionate about supporting its communities. She is particularly interested in promoting social mobility and works alongside a national charity to provide mentors to local schools, in addition to working with the D&I committee nationally within her business unit.
Rosie is excited to join the Business in the Community (BITC) network and the opportunity to work alongside like-minded individuals who can collectively impact social and environmental issues facing businesses and communities in the South West.
Rosie lives with her husband in Bristol and, intermittently, with her children, who arrive home periodically to eat all the food in the house! In her spare time, she enjoys easy access to the wonderful countryside around the city and escaping to the Pembrokeshire coast in the campervan, as well as playing tennis and running.
