Tim is a partner in Eversheds LLP’s Corporate Compliance Group, based in its Newcastle office. He specialises in the defence of criminal regulatory matters, including fatalities and corporate manslaughter, health and safety issues, Coroner’s Inquests, environmental law, process safety and traffic commissioner cases. He also leads on safety compliance matters.
Tim has extensive experience of all areas of regulatory law and criminal procedure in the Magistrates’ and Crown Courts, as well as crisis management, regulatory compliance, investigation and enforcement. He holds a BOSIET Certificate in Offshore safety. He is also a Solicitor Advocate with rights of audience in the Higher Criminal Courts.
Outside work, Tim is a keen cyclist which helps to offset his love of food and wine. He is married with one daughter and lives in Newcastle.
