Michael Davison is Deputy CEO of Hogan Lovells. In addition to being a practicing litigation solicitor, he sits as an arbitrator, acts as a mediator, and lectures on arbitration topics. 

A keen advocate for diversity and inclusion at Hogan Lovells, Michael is the executive sponsor of the firm’s Race and Ethnicity at Hogan Lovells (REAHL) Network. He also regularly represents clients pro bono at coronial inquests acting for the Justice for Jasmine families (whose relatives died when residents in care homes in South Wales) and for families of British nationals who have died in Ukraine, and those who died on active service.  

Michael also holds a strong interest in the use of technology, including AI, to support the firm’s clients and is leading a number of projects in this area including the firm’s data strategy and developing alternative service delivery models.  

Michael is a council member of The Heart of the City. He is also the Chair of the Arbitration Committee of the City of London Lawyers Society and a trustee of St Luke’s Community Centre.
