Eileen Brown has over 24 years experience of working in the utilities sector, and has led the customer strategy team for Northern Gas Networks (NGN)for the last 14 years.
During this time Eileen has been involved in transforming the service delivery in NGN by really striving to go above and beyond what customers are expecting. Over the last 10 years Eileen has worked to develop a holistic and sustainable approach to supporting customers in vulnerable situations. This has involved engaging with key stakeholders to form strategic and delivery partnerships, as well as making sure that the needs of customers in vulnerable situations are considered during every action that NGN takes as a business.
In Eileen’s spare time, she loves climbing up mountains, especially for the views and a picnic, as well as providing voluntary editorial support to her local village newsletter. Eileen is excited about her new role on the Yorkshire and Humber Business in the Community Leadership Board. She’s looking forward to exploring further opportunities for NGN to collaborate with and learn from businesses across the region.
