Inclusion and wellbeing training for line managers

Wellbeing in the workplace

Prioritising people boosts productivity & performance

BITC’s work with McKinsey Health Institute in 2023 demonstrates that supporting workforce wellbeing can unlock significant productivity improvements by reducing sickness absence, presenteeism, and employee turnover.4

Embedding a preventative approach

This training will help your organisation to embed a preventative and holistic approach to wellbeing throughout the employee lifecycle – from recruitment to retirement.

The approach of line manager to their own physical and mental health, stress management, and work-life balance directly influences the culture within their team. In the course, line managers will learn tactics to support their wellbeing and empower their team to do likewise.

The training covers key topics such as effective communication, active listening, and inclusive team meetings. It focuses on setting healthy, inclusive objectives, managing performance, and resolving conflicts. The training also addresses motivation, collaboration, and development.

By recognising and managing stress, promoting a healthy work-life balance, and fostering an inclusive environment, you’ll help reduce stress, improve team performance, and create a positive working culture built on psychological safety, trust, and compassion.
