Anouska Ramsay is the Director of Culture and Capability for Santander UK, responsible for the people experience agenda across talent, culture, learning, leadership, resourcing and skills. Anouska is passionate about developing and implementing creative strategies to attract, develop and retain diverse talent and skills and building an inclusive culture where all colleagues can learn, grow, and succeed while being themselves.
As a diversity leader, Anouska is increasing the focus and leadership accountability on inclusion with several innovations to build an inclusive environment, reinforcing the belief that we all have a role to play in creating a workplace that celebrates the diversity of our colleagues, our customers and our communities.
With the team at Santander she is shaping a culture that promotes everyday inclusion – the behaviours that we can demonstrate every day to make everybody feel respected, valued and able to contribute. This has been recognised with Santander being listed in The Times Top 50 Employers for Women, Top 20 Social Mobility Index Organisation, Top Ten Employer in the British LGBT Awards and receiving the Top Employer certification by the Top Employers Institute.
Based on cutting-edge research in partnership with Business in the Community (BITC), Anouska is working on how to overcome the uncovered societal and organisational biases that exist among men and women with caring responsibilities and how these can impact women’s career progression.
Prior to joining Santander, Anouska worked for Capgemini for over 12 years in a number of roles, the most recent being VP for Talent.
