Claire Bees is a Relationship Director for HSBC UK Bank Plc within the South West corporate team supporting a portfolio of businesses who turnover between £6.5M to £350M with their growth ambitions and achieving their strategies. Claire’s sector focus is on sustainability, e-commerce and fast-growth companies with a portfolio including a broad mix of other sectors such as manufacture and wholesale. Claire is passionate about sustainability and is a Sustainable Finance Ambassador for HSBC.
Originally from East Yorkshire, Claire moved to Bristol as an undergraduate at the University of the West of England with a BA(Hons) in Politics and Sociology. After graduation, Claire loved the South West so much she decided to stay in the area and now lives near Bath with her husband, daughter and dog.
Claire is delighted to become part of the Business in the Community (BITC) South West Leadership Board and is looking forward to working with like-minded individuals who are striving to improve jobs, skills and the environment for South West communities.
When not being a taxi service to various dance classes for her daughter, Claire teaches her rescue dog obedience and agility and enjoys the many walks available in the South West countryside and coastlines with her dog and husband.
