Alison Breadon joined PwC in 1996 after graduating with a degree in Law. She has over 25 years experience in the provision of assurance and advisory services to a range of public and private sector organisations. She specialises in Education and Government where she has lead a wide range of assurance and advisory services. As a Partner within PwC’s Risk practice, Ali advises on board governance, internal audit, due diligence and risk and regulatory reviews. As the Education Industry Lead Partner in PwC’s Risk Practice, Ali is responsible for the oversight of governance, risk and controls work across this sector.
Ali is Market Senior Partner for PwC’s East Midlands office and lives locally in Leicestershire. She was delighted to support local business growth through involvement in the Business in the Community (BITC) East Midlands Leadership Board.
Her interest in effective board governance and stewardship extends to her other voluntary roles. Ali is currently Chair of the Audit and Risk Committee at the national sports governing body, Swim England and has formerly held Trustee and Governor positions in other community bodies.
