Emma Thorogood has been the Head of Corporate Affairs at PwC for the past 12 years and is responsible for the firm’s reputation, purpose and communications.
Emma leads the teams responsible for external affairs and media relations, internal engagement, social and digital channels, and community engagement. Emma is also a member of PwC’s Global Communications steering committee. Emma oversees a number of initiatives for the UK firm including the firm’s Social Value Fund, social mobility initiatives and community programmes. Prior to joining PwC, Emma was Head of Media Relations at Deloitte. She has been a Patron at Access Accountancy since 2020 and joined the Business in the Community (BITC) Gender Equality Leadership Team in June 2024.
