BITC Scotland’s Race Leadership Roundtable
Wed, 12 June @ 08:30 – 10:00
This is an in-person event.
Audience
This event is open to members of Business in the Community (BITC). The event has been designed to benefit senior leaders.
Background
The Race at Work Leadership roundtable aims to shape the future of workplaces across Scotland. Action by employers could boost the UK economy and lead to increased productivity and returns in the workplace. However, these potential gains are stifled by the barriers faced by ethnically diverse talent in the workplace.
About the event
We are bringing together industry leaders, policymakers, and influencers to discuss the critical topic of race at work. We will focus on understanding the impact of the Census data on ethnicity in Scotland, which is due to be published in May this year, to help shape the way forward.
This roundtable serves as a platform for open dialogue, knowledge sharing, and actionable strategies.
Together, we can drive positive change and cultivate workplaces that celebrate diversity and empower all individuals to thrive.
Speakers
Hear first-hand from Sandra Kerr CBE, BITC’s Race Director on the research findings and how BITC is empowering employers to accelerate change for ethnically diverse employees.
Other speakers to be announced soon.
Refreshments
A light breakfast will be served at the roundtable.
