2022 Awards Partner – The Lloyds Bank British Business Excellence Awards – announces finalists
Business in the Community (BITC)’s 2022 Awards Partner, The Lloyds Bank British Business Excellence Awards, has published its list of this year’s finalists. The awards range from Entrepreneurs, Micro, SMEs, and Mid-Market, right up to FTSE 100 businesses.
The awards are part of a year-long programme of networking events, round tables, and judging processes, all of which culminate in an awards ceremony on Tuesday 8th November 2022 at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London. The finalists for each category can be found here.
Nick Diamond, Membership Director at Business in the Community, said:
“It’s fantastic to be part of The Lloyds Bank British Business Excellence Awards at a time where it is so critical that businesses truly put purpose at the heart of their organisations, which these awards celebrate. Many of the finalists are great examples of responsible businesses that go beyond profit and are demonstrating how they are making work work for people and the planet.
“In doing so, finalists should feel proud that they are creating a fairer and greener society through the initiatives and work they do. While we know there is a pressing need to go faster in addressing the big societal issues facing people across the UK, it’s only right that we recognise those companies who are already thinking about the impact of their work on wider society.”
Sarah Austin, Awards Director of British Business Excellence Awards, commented:
“Business across the UK has certainly been under incredible strain since the disastrous impact of both the pandemic and the subsequent aftershocks that have continued to rock the very foundation of British business. The ensuing survival mode operations and astounding level of adaptation seen across the business community has been an exceptional commentary of how amazing UK business really is.
“This is why the Lloyds Bank British Business Excellence Awards is so vital; there has never been a greater time to recognise and celebrate the achievements across the business landscape. These people, the ones behind each and every one of our incredible finalists, have worked tirelessly to not only survive, but to thrive!
“We can’t wait to celebrate the people behind these wonderful companies to give them the recognition they truly deserve.”
