Business in the Community announces partnership with British Business Excellence Awards for 2022
Business in the Community (BITC), The Prince’s Responsible Business Network, has announced that it will partner with The British Business Excellence Awards to become the Responsible Business Partner for the upcoming awards in 2022.
As part of its 40th anniversary, BITC is calling for businesses to scale up their responsible business commitments by working together to create a fairer and greener society. The British Business Excellence Awards is an opportunity to recognise those businesses who have responsibility at the heart of all decision making.
The British Business Excellence Awards is for businesses of all shapes and sizes. The awards host a year-long programme of networking events, round tables and exemplar judging processes, all of which will then culminate in an awards ceremony on Tuesday 8th November 2022 at the Grosvenor House Hotel, London.
Nick Diamond, Memberships Director at Business in the Community, said:
“Business in the Community is delighted to become the Responsible Business Partner for this year’s British Business Excellence Awards. These awards are completely in harmony with our vision, supporting businesses that make a difference and have a positive impact on our communities.
“Recognising businesses that go beyond profit and embed purpose into their organisations is important as a lot of the incredible work that is being done often goes unnoticed. Businesses should feel proud as they work together to create a fairer and greener society and while there is still more work to be done, it’s only right that we celebrate the progress that is being made.”
Carmela Coop-Rodia, Head of Sponsorship & Partnerships at British Business Excellence Awards, added:
“We are extremely privileged to be the official 2022 awards partner for Business in the Community, teaming up with them during their 40th anniversary. The work that Business in the Community do is extremely inspirational and it’s even more remarkable to see that they’ve reached their fourth decade.
“Everything that Business in the Community stands for is in-line with the vision and values that we hold here at the British Business Excellence Awards, and that makes the partnership feel even more special for us. We’re excited to see what’s in store for British businesses over the next few months and hope to see many businesses, especially those that have positive impacts on their communities, enter the awards.”
UK-based businesses can register their interest in entering the awards via britishbusinessexcellenceawards.co.uk, with applications opening on Wednesday 23rd February 2022.
