As Operations Director for Thames Water, Tessa Fayers has a broad people leadership accountability spanning teams in Water and Wastewater operations, as well as logistics in Thames Water’s Thames Valley and Home Counties operating area.
Having worked in male dominated industries most of her career, Tessa is passionate about advancing gender equality. She is a champion of diversity and inclusion; including active sponsorship roles in Women’s and Parent/Carer Employee Networks and advocating externally for Thames Water’s gender initiatives.
Tessa is proud of Thames Water’s commitment to improving the diversity of its workforce through an ambitious skills strategy and active involvement in initiatives such as Business in the Community’s (BITC’s) Opening Doors Campaign.
Outside of work, Tessa enjoys keeping active and enjoying time with family and friends. She lives in Berkshire with her husband and teenage daughter.
