Wendy Edwards works for PwC and is the Cardiff Growth Project Leader, with ambitious plans to increase the presence of the professional services firm within the region. With over 25 years of experience at PwC, her career started as an Auditor and she qualified as a Chartered Accountant in Cardiff, before moving to the Midlands and joining PwC’s Deals practice. Following that, Wendy spent a number of years in the Learning & Development team in London and qualified as an Executive Coach in 2009. She then moved back to Wales and spent the next 13 years in a variety of HR business partnering roles, supporting both national and regional teams. Wendy was a member of Business in the Community’s (BITC) South West Regional Leadership Board for two years from 2018 – 2020.
Wendy lives just outside Newport with her husband Steve and their two teenagers. She enjoys travelling, cooking, walking and Zumba.
